YG&E Youth Summit

In  2019 Young, Gifted & Empowered hosted its first Youth Summit. YG&E partners with Jackson Public Schools (JPS) Michelle Obama Early College Program to host the day long youth summit. The summit is was free to the 47 students that are enrolled in JPS's first early college program. Past honorees of Young, Gifted & Empowered and community leaders facilitate workshops on  leadership, entrepreneurship, art, coding, photography, podcasting, fashion designing and community service.
